How I Made The Background

I started with a grey and white gradient, which was exactly in the middle of the screen and made it cover the screen by using the rulers for guidelines.

Then I had to copy and paste the whole background and then edit it to make it look as though it was a 3 dimensional space. I did this by warping the shape and extending the lower two corners to make it look as though it was extending into the distance and make it look like it was a floor. I then moved the copied image halfway down the page into its correct position.

The next thing i had to do was to add a blur effect to the grey horizon to make it look less fake and more genuin.

I then had to use the elipse tool to select the area which needed editing, then I had to decide on the right radius to make the blurring. so it would give it a realistic approach.

I then added a slight blue filter to the whole image to make it look colder and, cooler which is the idea of the magazine, and fits in theme with the photoshopped model which I used.

I then edited the levels to make the background look authentic and make it look like the background is realistic and not done on a computer. and this is the final product which I ended up with.
